Instead of spending the day waiting in line or fighting traffic while in Southern California, while away the hours exploring a beautiful secluded Island off the coast of Santa Barbara. In recognition of the significant ecological habit and the rare beauty of the Channel Islands, President Carter designated these Islands a National Park and the waters around them a Marine Sanctuary. This area of the world has not been geared to mass tourism and the payoff to you is unspoiled beaches teeming wildlife to observe, secluded lagoons to explore, and beautiful endemic plants and animals to photograph.
Truth Aquatics specializes in multi-day live aboard island excursions. We feel that the best way to explore the islands is on a 2 or 3 day excursion where all meals, snacks and beverages are included in the price. Enjoy hiking after a breakfast cooked to order. While on the Island a naturalist will guide you on trails through canyons, grassy knolls, and white sandy beaches that numb your senses. Kayak, swim, snorkel, or scuba dive in the afternoon, then settle in for barbeque steak dinner and take in a sunset only found at the Channel Islands. Wake up the next morning and start all over again at a different Island. We are extremely excited to also offer the unique opportunity of a 1 day island adventure to Painted Cave for skiff tours, kayaking, stand up paddling, swimming, and snorkeling May through October.
Corporations, Travel agencies, and individual groups are welcomed. These trips are the perfect get-a-way for those who are seeking solitude and and a location to provide a company team building event. Island fox, birds, pinnapeds (seals and sea lions), deer, and elk are all just a sample of what is available for viewing. Unlike going ashore at Catalina, setting foot on these islands is what our coastline must have been like a century ago. We hope to see you on board for one of these exciting trips or you can make it part of your charter.
